Coventry University is tendering for a supplier to develop, supply and install a configurable fixed-base transport simulator. This will primarily for the purpose of behavioural research in the fields of automotive and aviation (fixed wing aircraft) engineering and design. It is expected that the facility will also be of relevance to research into vehicle dynamics and sensor (e.g. radar, camera) validation and verification.
This contract has not been divided into lots due to the technical nature meaning we will require the same supplier who supplies the simulator to also install and maintain the simulator.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Coventry University has incorporated a 10 calendar day standstill period following the date the award of the framework was communicated to tenderers. This period allowed unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract was entered into.
If any appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months). Where a contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the Court may only award damages.
