Coventry University is tendering for a supplier to develop, supply and install a configurable fixed-base transport simulator. This will primarily for the purpose of behavioural research in the fields of automotive and aviation (fixed wing aircraft) engineering and design. It is expected that the facility will also be of relevance to research into vehicle dynamics and sensor (e.g. radar, camera) validation and verification.
This contract has not been divided into lots due to the technical nature meaning we will require the same supplier who supplies the simulator to also install and maintain the simulator.

This period allowed unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract was entered into.
If any appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
