Invite expressions of interest to co-produce, inform and deliver a Behavioural Sciences Unit.
Hertfordshire County Councils is seeking to establish a service which will bring behavioural science input to use at population level across the County. To help ensure the success of this service, we wish to engage with potential providers and interested parties regarding how this may operate in practice and intend to hold an informal market event in late February 2014.
Outline of service specifics at present:
Deliverables:
- Prevent non communicable disease;
- Enable clinicians to effectively use behavioural science techniques to improve patient outcome;
- Enable social care professionals and third sector agencies effectively use behavioural science techniques to support people and achieve better outcomes;
- Support those with established disease and disability (physical and psychological) to thrive;
- Working across the health and Social Care System with Partners across Hertfordshire;
Achieving outcomes based upon:
- Pathways and techniques, self management, thriving not surviving, cost reduction, staff skills,evaluation and research.
