Isos and Cestria are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified window cleaning contractor to complete both internal and external window cleaning services to properties throughout North East England. At present, both Isos and Cestria have an incumbent sole contractor delivering services to multiple properties of various types and tenure throughout the respective geographies of each association, however following the addition of Cestria to the Isos Housing Group, there is now an opportunity to appoint a single contract for 1 or more of the lots being tendered. This tender will be split into three distinctive geographical lots, and bidders are invited to express an interest in one or more of the lots, and there is no limit to the number of lots that can be awarded to a single contractor. The lots available are as follows:
- Lot 1 - Northumberland;
- Lot 2 - North / South Tyneside;
- Lot 3 - County Durham / Stockton;
A Lot Map showing the lot geography can be found at Appendix A. Currently, Isos have 148 properties requiring external cleaning, 78 of which require internal cleaning. Cestria have 9 properties which require both internal and external cleaning. The majority of properties are cleaning externally and internally monthly, with a small selection of properties cleaned less frequently. A final schedule will be made available to bidders at Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage. Bidders should note that some properties require specialist access equipment, and as such any successful contractor(s) will need to demonstrate their ability to handle these properties.
