NHS Rotherham CCG sought bids from suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers for a GP Service for intermediate care.
The main aims of the service are to:
- Provide general medical services to the designated nursing or residential home to minimum standards laid out in the practices PMS contract during core hours,
- Liaise with residential homes and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams with regard to patient care,
- Deliver anticoagulation services in accordance with the local enhanced framework.
There were 4 Lots associated with this tender:
1. Lot 1 - Netherfield Court,
2. Lot 2 - Davies Court,
3. Lot 3 - Lord Hardy Court,
4. Lot 4 - Breathing Space and Waterside Grange.
The total envelope for the contract is 90 000 GBP per annum, which is split between the 4 Lots as follows:
- Lot 1: up to 30 000 GBP per annum,
- Lot 2: up to 22 500 GBP per annum,
- Lot 3: up to 22 500 GBP per annum,
- Lot 4: 15 000 GBP per annum block payment.
As the procurement fell under Part B of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, it is only mandatory for the procurement to comply with Regulation 5 (2).
The contract is for a period of 32 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months.
