This procurement is being purchased under DSPCR, Regulation 16 Security Exemption. The Authority has procured these antenna before for SATCOM use and in accordance with regualtion 16, the Authority is able to purchase additional items for technical reasons: specific interoperability; incompatibility with existing goods; and disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance of existing goods, being valid reasons for additional purchases.
