Appointed Contractors must be able to carry out (in-house or subject to Client Organisation approval via sub-contract) all or any one of the following steps individually:
1. Prepare and submit funding/grant proposals for any proposed build or refurbishment requirements.
2. Prepare any required architect drawings to the Client Organisations requirements.
3. Prepare planning application, submit and liaise with appropriate planning authority to obtain planning permission and approval.
4. Complete the build or refurbishment to approved plans in line with the current statutory legislation and recognised guidance documents

Added Value Portal Limited (Contract Managers), on behalf of South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College is setting up a National Framework Agreement for Small to Medium Works contracts with a value of between GBP 5 000 and GBP 4 000 000. The framework will be available for all Academies, main stream Schools and Colleges still under Local Authority control to use and will be open to use by all other public sector bodies in the UK. The main aim of the framework is to introduce competition and give a European Procurement Regulations Compliant route to market for all public sector bodies to use.
1.5 South Hunsley School and Sixth form College is an outstanding academy with over 2 000 students. This is expected to increase to 2,250 students over the next 5-10 years. All members of the South Hunsley family seek to inspire each other and learn to value greatness, ambition and achievement of all kinds. As a growing academy within a multi-academy trust we have invested in on-site small works, including a new language block and roof repairs, over the last three years and are about to embark on a GBP 7 to GBP 10 000 000 expansion and maintenance programme over three phases.
Added Value Portal Limited, on behalf of South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College wishes to appoint a number of suppliers on a National framework agreement for Small to Medium Works Contracts. The framework agreement will be open for the use of all UK Public Sector Bodies to include but not limited to; The Science and Technology Facilities Council, The Medical Research Council, The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, The Economic and Social Research Council, The Natural Environment Research Council, The Arts and Humanities Research Council, The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, The UKSBS Ltd, Central Government Departments and their Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies, Local Authorities, Voluntary Sector Charities, and/or other private organisations acting as managing agents or procuring on behalf of these UK bodies.
