ESPO wishes to undertake exploratory market engagement in respect of a possible new national framework agreement for the provision of multi-sensory environments. The aim of the new framework will be to offer schools, local authorities, hospitals and other bodies a convenient and effective means of procuring such facilities.
The framework will include assisting customers with the specification and design of facilities, as well as supplying and installing the equipment, and providing staff training. Customers will be able to buy a complete ‘turnkey' solution if they wish, or may select individual components (e.g. design, or product supply, or specialist advice) as appropriate. The framework will be wide in its scope, in order to include all sizes and types of facility, and to meet the needs of all client groups, including children and adults with special needs.
Suppliers are invited to contact ESPO to express an interest in participating in the exploratory market engagement. This is likely to take the form of completing a short questionnaire intended to help ESPO shape the proposed framework, and prepare formal tender documentation. Depending on the size and nature of the response to this notice, there may be an opportunity for suppliers to meet with ESPO (collectively or individually), to share information and insights.
In order to express an interest in participating in the exploratory market engagement, please email your request to: quoting ESPO reference number 551/14.
