Cost Consultants and Employers Representative in relation to a substantive 600 bed predominately en suite bedroom development, although some town house provision is anticipated, at its Hull Campus.
The contract will also require the services of a Lead Architect to source, supply and co-ordinate the activities of the following functions:-
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consultancy
Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy
BREEAM Assessor
CDMC Co-ordinator
FFE / Interior Design
These roles will be tendered as separate direct appointments although closely associated.
The Contract for the building work will be let by competitive tender and will be a single stage design and build contract with the Cost Consultant and Employers Representative retained through to Stage 7. The rest of the Design Team may be Novated at Stage 4 or retained as technical advisors
Site start beginning of 2015 with completion required no later than August 2016.
The estimated cost is between GBP 25 to GBP 27 million Pounds Sterling.
