Dorset County Council acting as the lead authority on behalf of the Dorset Fire Authority, Christchurch Borough Council, East Dorset District Council, North Dorset District Council, Purbeck District Council, West Dorset District Council and Weymouth & Portland Borough Council will be seeking to appoint an insurance broker who can demonstrate the necessary expertise and experience in the public sector market. Dorset County Council works collaboratively with other councils, health services and emergency services across the South West region and will allow, via prior agreement, access to this Framework by these public sector bodies. or any separate legal entities (for example, local authority trading companies) established by such public sector bodies to deliver services that fall within that bodies' statutory power to deliver.
