The Contract is for a 24 hour 7 days a week, year round, fully comprehensive servicing and repair operation for all heating types. The following servcies and works are included within the proposed contract:
- 24 / 7 breakdown call out and heating repair service for Tenants.
- Annual Inspection of any domestic heating system. Fuel types include Gas (NG & LPG), Oil, Solid Fuel, Warm Air, Electric, Alternative forms such as Ground Source Heat.
- Inspections of some ancillary equipment including, but not limited to, electric and gas fires.
- Testing of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms both Battery and Hardwire.
- Issue of Landlord Safety certification.
- Void work including Gas Capping & Uncapping.
- Active tenant liaison with Tenants, Housing Officers and Legal departments to ensure each property is serviced annually.
- One off Central Heating replacement in the event of total heating failure.
- Programmed central heating replacement. (Decent Homes Work).
- 'One Off' domestic loft and cavity wall insulation upgrades.
The contract is for an initial period of 12 months commneicng on the 1.4.2014 with the option to annually extend for a further 4 years up to the 31.3.2019.
