This is because BAE Systems is the UK Prime Contractor for the equipment, shares exclusive rights for this equipment with its major subcontractor and the in-service support services can not be provided without access to those exclusive rights and for technical reasons only BAE Systems has the expertise, know-how and tools to provide the in-service support services.
