The Trust wishes to receive expressions of interest for the provision of a Managed Service for Haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) analysis.
The primary purpose of the Managed Service Agreement will be to provide IFCC-standardised HbA1c values with a high level of accuracy and long-term precision and will include purchase, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance.
The proposed products must comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and be convenient in use; reagents should have proven open and unopened long term stability, and be compatible for use with the analysers.
The Pathology Department at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) operates at three main hospital sites; Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital with services also provided for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The primary period will be for three years with an option to extend for up to a maximum of two years at the discretion of the Trust

Tenders and all supporting documentation must be priced in sterling and all payments will be made in sterling (GBP). Expressions of interest which are submitted without the information requested may not be considered.
The awarding authority reserves the right not to proceed with the process at any stage of the procurement process and shall not be responsible for any abortive bid costs incurred. The Trust also reserves the right to award more than one contract under this process.
