The Council's 3 year current long term agreement for Insurance Services is due to expire on 12.5.2014 although there is an option to extend for a further two one year extensions. The Risk Assurance Officer is in the process of reviewing their requirements for the Purchase of Insurance Services and as part of that process are looking at the framework let by the Government Procurement Service and Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation. The Council reserve the right to use the framework if it decides that this provides best value for the council.
