This Contract is to cover the provision of electrical materials and goods to cover the general maintenance and emergency repair of Corby Borough Council's housing stock. The Supplier will be expected to stock a range of key materials to allow the Council's employees to replenish stock on their vans as necessary. The Supplier will be expected to provide a routine service on week days and in addition provide an emergency service on weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals
Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Corby Borough Council will incorporate a minimum 10 day standstill period at the point of notification of the decision to award the contract. The decision notice will incorporate the award criteria, the reasons for the decisions, the reasons (if any) why a bidder did not meet any specification, the identity of the successful bidder and a precise statement of when the stanstill period is expected to end. Any appeal or challenge against the award decision must be communicated to the address in Section I.1 above within the standstill period. If the appeal or challenge to award the contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties to take action in the High Court. Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months although this time frame may be reduced to 30 days in certain circumstances). Where a legal challenge is made after the contract has been entered into then that contract could be declared ineffective and/or shortened and/or a fine imposed by the Court.
