The Purchaser requires a leak detection and repair service for domestic water supply pipes in Privately owned land up to and including the Customer Boundary with the Highway. In addition, the Purchaser has a requirement to replace water supply pipes due to age and condition or if the pipe is found to be made of lead. The Purchaser offers these services as a subsidy to its Customers, or at a reduced rate for supply pipe replacement work. In addition, The Purchaser requires plumbing services to carry out reactive repairs and clearance of Customers internal plumbing systems, work which may arise from the Purchasers own activities operating and maintaining its Potable Water Mains Network.
