Hull City Council, with the support of the Homes and Communities Agency, is seeking a Lead Developer Partner with the expertise and capability to enter into a long term strategic development contract and development partnership.
The tender is for four sites within Hull's Fruit Market area totaling 3,22ha and will involve the construction
of a new arts centre and approximately 70 new homes. Major stock refurbishment works within the Humber
Street area will also provide new venues and spaces for arts, cultural and music uses in addition to new retail and office business growth spaces. As part of the refurbishment of the Humber Street area an option for joint investment will be part of the opportunity.
The Fruit Market is a distinctive and vibrant lifetsyle quarter that is well known known for festivals, markets,
culture, events and arts. The Lead Developer Partner will work with Hull City Council to drive forward the
regeneration of the city's Fruit Market which comprises 6,98ha overall.
