Northumberland Care Trust commissions social care services on behalf of Northumberland County Council and provides primary care services to adults and children. The Care Trust requires suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide learning disability residential and supported living services in identified existing settings within the county.
The people living in the homes may have substantial physical support needs, autism spectrum conditions or present challeneges to services.
Whilst many of the homes are registered residential models, successful organisations will work with commissioners to consider potential deregistration in looking to promote independence and best opportunity for the current population.
The Council is seeking to appoint three organisations to join a framework to provide these services.
