It is the intention of NSDP, HCA and SBC that the Innovation Centre will be constructed at Northshore to take advantage of the Enterprise Zone benefits available at the site for digital and creative SME's. The proposed location of the Innovation Centre will also provide occupiers with other key benefits in terms of linkages with the town centre and the current campus facilities of both Durham and Teesside Universities, accessed via the adjacent Infinity Bridge. The site also also offers excellent public transport links for occupiers. NSDP has the exclusive right to develop and manage the Northshore development. Accordingly, SBC will enter into a Development Agreement with NSDP to deliver the Innovation Centre. It should be highlighted that the works contract for the construction of the Innovation Centre will be advertised in the OJEU in due course.
