l) The contract has as its object services listed in Annex II B of Directive 2004/18/EC or in Annex XVII B of Directive 2004/17/EC.
The Pre Departure Accommodation is an extension of family service provision via an existing contract (Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centre), which was procured and awarded to G4S by means of a voluntary restricted OJEU process. G4S is the only contractor currently providing secure family accommodation to the United Kingdom Border Agency. The geographical co-location of the Pre Departure Accommodation, and the need to draw upon existing services and expertise from Tinsley House dictated that the Pre Departure Accommodation service requirement be attached to the existing G4S contract as a contractual change notice. The duration of the Pre Departure Accommodation service provided under the Tinsley House contract shall be the same as for that contract.
