Main site or location of works, place of delivery or of performance: The initial role out for this programme, is for Durham Green LLP, a collective energy procurement scheme which is a Limited Liability Partnership formed by a group of housing associations in County Durham. The partners, which between them provide approximately 40 000 homes, are:- Dale and Valley Homes, Cestria Community Housing, Derwentside Homes, Durham County Council, Livin and East Durham Homes

The Contract will be made available to all NEPO Members. A list of member organisations is available at www.nepoportal.org

The Council intends to make this Contract available for use by all UK contracting authorities including but not limited to Government Departments and their Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Educational Establishments, Registered Charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies.

NEPO are seeking to appoint a single Contractor to create a long term evolving Community Energy Programme. The programme will explore ways in which Housing Providers, their Residents and communities, could directly benefit from opportunities emerging in the energy sector.
This programme is primarily to help achieve an average 20 % reduction in the Customers' annual energy bills, through lower tariffs. Its aspirations are to create funds to support the marketing and administration of the programme and to support a range of local energy efficiency investments in education, jobs and energy infrastructure projects through Community Energy Champions. The Community Energy Champions will promote behaviour change to reduce energy usage. The programme also aims to roll out the installation of Smart Meters to all Customers who commit to the programme.
