The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to invite all suppliers with large scale manufacturing facilities to an Industry Day. The Industry Day will be held at The Centre, Birchwood Park, Warrington, WA3 6YN, on Thursday 14th March 2013 at 10am and will allow prospective suppliers to discuss their interest and facilities.
The intention of this open day is to provide Sellafield Ltd with knowledge of what manufacturing capabilities, capacities and facilities are currently available in the supply chain to enable modification and/or manufacture of waste retrieval equipment (see attached documentation) to facilitate the removal of nuclear material from the aging facilities.
