The operator procurement has not yet begun. Soft Market testing has begun with potential operators, and we are in discussion with them. This notice seeks interested parties that would want to be included in this process.
The Arena Operator is to undertake the following tasks, though this list is not exhaustive; all building facility management functions, site security, car park arrangements, arranging, promoting and advertising events. In addition, the operator will be expected to take an important advisory role in the design of the Arena
There are a number of operating models for the Arena, which will be reviewed when the Outline Business Case is produced this spring. They include a management contract structure, arms - Length Company, Joint Venture, or a rental agreement approach. It is anticipated the arrangement may cover a period of up to 25 years.
