The Council is conducting a market testing exercise to gauge market interest and seek additional information in respect of its Cultural & Leisure portfolio. Interested parties should download an Information Pack containing more detail about the service area and their soft market questionnaire. Details of where to access the documentation is set out in Section 11.7 below.

The Information Pack and the soft market questionnaire are available for download via www.nepoportal.org. Access the Supplier Area, select Durham and input QTLE-94FLU7. The Council is seeking responses from interested parties by 12:00 on Friday 15 February 2013. The Council reserves the right to seek further clarification on any reponses by way of written communication or meeting, where it considers this appropriate to do so.

The Council is seeking responses to a Questionnaire by way of market testing to enable the Council to assess market interest and capacity in relation to the potential delivery of leisure and cultural services (as set out in the Information Pack), This notice is issued solely for the purposes of conducting market testing and does not constitute any commitment by the Council to to undertake any procurement exercise in the future. Interested parties will not be prejudiced by any response, or failure to respond, to this market test and a response to this PIN does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future public procurement process that the Council may conduct. This PIN does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services for the Council. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this market testing exercise.
