The supply of workshop materials, supplies, equipment and services. Members of the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) have agreed in principle to jointly contract for the above. The agreement will be open to the other UK based Higher and Further Education Purchasing Consortia and higher education institutions should they wish to join at a later date. SUPC members spend in the region of 8 000 000 GBP annually although this is an estimated figure. Should more organisations join in the agreement the total spend could reach 15 000 000 GBP annually although no expenditure on any agreement is guaranteed.
