The University of Salford is the only University to have a presence at MediaCityUK, with a space designed to encourage creativity, innovation and collaboration between academics, students, professionals and industry.
Located at the heart of six national BBC departments including Sport, Breakfast News, Childrens programmes, Radio 5 live, the BBC Philharmonic orchestra and the English Regions for Manchester and the North West and a host of independent specialist creative, digital and media organisations - our new location at MediaCityUK opened its doors in October 2011.
Potential vendors are invited to present solutions for the maintenance and technical support of the University Broadcast Facilities at MediaCityUK over a three year term (reviewed annually) although bidders are encouraged to include an option for five years. The ITT document describes the Universities requirements along with technical details of the existing system(s) architecture which has been designed and installed to deliver a working environment which meets the educational, operational and business requirements of the University.
