Tees Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is looking to work with a supplier(s) to deliver an interactive public facing web site which is underpinned by a comprehensive, robust knowledge management repository.
The solution must be delivered by a supplier managed service and will need to include comprehensive:
- Web-site functionality - to provide a dynamic and interactive view of our services and the quality of care we can offer, health advice as well as providing the public with a good understanding of the Trust,
- Intranet/extranet functionality - that provides access through appropriate security layers to additional functionality for specific user groups - for example, trust staff to access the trust intranet and records, service users to view and interact with their health record information, and GPs and commissioners to view and interact with trust information about our services,
- Enhanced communications functionality - to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and information easily between staff, staff and service users and carers,
- Document and records management functionality - to facilitate the quick and easy retrieval of documents and records, the management of duplicate records, and the management of the records lifecycle,
- Workflow functionality - enabling submission of travel forms, templates, version control, automation of standard processes, and alerts,
- Document scanning functionality enabling up-load of documents so that they can be filed as part of the document and records management functionality and records lifecycle.
