II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s):The provision of reinstatement materials in the Southern operating area of NWL (Essex and Suffolk). This will include HAUC approved recycled GSB (Grade A type), temporary tarmac, top soil, sharp sand and ballast. The tender will also include a requirement for collection of NWL's excavated waste for recycling. The aggregate must be certified for all roads and surfaces. Deliveries of aggregate and collection of spoil must be made using grab lorries.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:Annual supply of aggregates, collection and recycling of excavated materials.The current total estimated quantities per annum are: 16 600 tonnes of recycled GSB, 1 300 tonnes of temporary tarmac and 18 000 tonnes of exacavated spoil to collect for recycling, together with top soil, sharp sand, ballast and other aggregate materials as required. These quantities are subject to variation due to demand and current workload.
