The Authority is seeking Providers of animal handling, poultry catching, and Depopulation services to be appointed to a Framework. The purpose of this Framework is to enable the Authority or Contracting Body to raise a Call-Off Contract for the services, if and when required. These Services may be required in the event of an Outbreak of animal disease or other Incident occurring anywhere within England, Wales or Scotland.
The Framework will be available for use by the Authority and its Executive Agencies, the Welsh Government, the Scottish Government, Northern Ireland Executive, Local Authorities, and Non-Departmental Public Bodies.

1)Short description
The preferred method of depopulation of poultry involves the use of Containerised Gassing Units (but other methods may be used at the Contracting Body’s discretion). Using this method requires the prior catching and collection of birds and placing them in poultry industry standard modules.

1)Short description
This Lot gives the opportunity for Tenderers to offer methods (including innovative approaches) for the depopulation of animals. The Authority is seeking providers that can provide Depopulation solutions to a framework. The method may be for any farmed animal in any number that the Authority may kill, in particular, for disease control purposes.
