The Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA), part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD), was formed in April 07 with the merger of the Veterans Agency and the Armed Forces Personnel Administration Agency and is located at Centurion Building (Gosport), Kentigern House (Glasgow), Norcross (nr Blackpool) and Imjin Barracks (nr Gloucester). SPVA delivers pay, personnel administration and pension services and medals to Service personnel and Veterans; provides administrative support for casualties and the repatriation of compassionate cases (neither in scope); and provides quality welfare services and support to war disablement pensioners, war widows and their dependants (partially in scope). The Future Contract where appropriate will seek to harmonise and simplify Agency services and/or processes in order to deliver improved stability and performance, better VFM, and a simplified structure within which Services can be added, removed and/or amended where necessary.
SPVA wish to work with the appointed contractor on a partnering basis in line with MOD guidance.
Contract Award.
The Contracting Authority will select the most economically advantageous tender in terms of the award criteria published in the descriptive document i.e. the Invitation to Participate in Dialogue (ITPD).
Subject to receipt of the necessary approvals, the Tenderer who submitted the most economically advantageous tender will be awarded the Contract. GO Reference: GO-2012725-DCB-4107485.
