Miscellaneous repair and maintenance services. Building construction work. Roof works and other special trade construction works. Building installation work. Building completion work. Other building completion work. Repair and maintenance services of building installations. Installation services of electrical and mechanical equipment. Building services. Building-inspection services. Leicester City Council ("the Council”) are responsible for Property Services to approximately 800 Local Government Buildings (excluding Housing), including schools, community homes, libraries and museums etc. all within the boundaries of Leicester City.
The Council invites applications from suitably experienced and qualified Specialist Contractor(s) for the following Categories of Works on Council buildings:
1. Emergency call out service;
a. Normal working hours’ - within 2 hrs of a request being made, and
b. Out of hours’ - within 1 hr of a request being made.
2. Reactive repair;
3. Routine repair;
4. Planned maintenance;
5. Minor improvements and alterations;
6. Project works including principal contractor, design and specification.
The Contract is intended for works not exceeding £100,000 per individual order value.
The above categories of works will be tendered in 7 separate lots.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The award of the Contract will be limited to one Contractor per each Lot except LOT 1 - All Schedules where two Contractors will be selected. Contractors that are successful in this tender procedure will be required to be registered and accredited to the EXOR Leicester City "Gold” standard as a contract condition. Contractors that currently do not hold this accreditation will be required to achieve this prior to contract start.
Under each Category applied for the service is required to mainly be resourced by direct labour, with limited sub-contracted work in specialist areas only.
Contractors expressing an interest in tendering for the Service Category applied for must be able to provide under the following Lots:
Lot 1. All schedules.
Lot 2. Drainage.
Lot 3. Roofing.
Lot 4. Finishes.
Lot 5. Glazing and window replacement.
Lot 6. Electrical services.
Lot 7. Mechanical and plumbing services.
The form of Contract will be based on a quality service assessment and percentage adjustments to the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) including additional locally agreed schedule items. The Contract Terms and Conditions will be the JCT Standard Form of Measured Term Contract 2011 Edition, and you should be fully conversant with the use of the NSR for measuring items of work ordered under these Contracts.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
