Royal Mail Group Limited ("RMGL") has a requirement for the conveyance of mail by air to various locations in the UK. The service is required to operate in the main from Monday to Friday during the night. Annex B to this Contract Notice shows the requirement divided into 30 lots together with further details. RMGL reserves the right to aggregate any combination of lots 1 to 30; the decision whether to do so and if so which lots will be aggregated will be taken prior to or during the negotiation stage of this procurement activity. RMGL may request during the negotiation stage that applicants provide RMGL with details of how aggregation of lots 1 to 30 may offer the most economically advantageous contractual solution to RMGL. RMGL may also allow applicants to submit variant bids on the basis of the applicants suggested aggregation of lots. Therefore although applicants may express interest in a single lot if they wish to do so, if the lot is aggregated with other lots during the negotiation stage, the applicant may not be eligible for consideration for the aggregated lots unless they have also bid for the other lots so aggregated.
