II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
Northamptonshire Libraries require the full supply, delivery and installation of a hosted web service digital signage solution for a full five year period.
The solution must:
- have the ability to distribute content manually at 35 libraries,
- not be linked to the corporate network or infrastructure,
- have the ability to use wireless internet access (which may become available in the future) for the distribution of content,
- include full support, maintenance through an agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and on site swap out warranties for the all hardware and any software for the full five year period.
Bidders will be expected to demonstrate appropriate competence in electrical installations and the requirements of Listed Buildings Consent, Advertisement Consent and landlord consent.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 165 000 GBP

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Northamptonshire County Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The duration of this standstill will be disclosed at this point. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such additional information should be required from (Refer to address in part 1.1) If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
