The service provides support to Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations in a variety of operational areas e.g. fund-raising, governance and volunteer recruitment, using methods including online, telephone, face-to-face and training courses. This contract will also support the provision of volunteer recruitment and brokerage services.

The overall aim is ‘to enable the residents of Buckinghamshire to develop and deliver effective voluntary and community led services, working through or in partnership with voluntary, statutory and private sector agencies where appropriate.’

It will ensure that VCS and public sector organisations can also access qualitative and quantitative information and analysis on both organisations and volunteering trends in Buckinghamshire and will deliver an effective communication service that provides front line organisations with timely and relevant information about issues that affect them, including local, regional and national policy initiatives.
