Design, installation and maintenance of a car parking solution to include an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system.
Hampshire County Council's Countryside Services are undergoing a Country Parks Transformation Programme at Calshot Activity Centre and at the following countryside parks; Lepe, Royal Victoria, Manor Farm, Queen Elizabeth and Staunton. The aim of the programme is to improve the car parking systems at each site. The project will focus on installing a system which will guarantee an increase in parking compliancy, such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).
A Provider Engagement Day is due to be hosted 31.5.2017 at 09:00 in Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Gravel Hill, Horndean, PO8 0QE. An interactive briefing/ engagement session and site visit at Queen Elizabeth is planned until 11:30 with the following site visits:
12:00 - 12:30 - Staunton Country Park, Middle Park Way, Havant, PO9 5HB;
13:00 - 13:45 - Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey, Southampton, SO31 5DQ;
14:15 - 15:15 - Manor Farm Country Park Pylands Lane, Bursledon, Southampton, SO31 1BH;
16:15 - 16:45 - Calshot Activity Centre, Fawley, Southampton, SO45 1BR;
17:00 - 17:30 - Lepe Country Park, Exbury, Southampton, SO45 1AD.

The contract start date is scheduled to begin 1.9.2017 - 31.3.2023 with the option to extend in annual increments until 31.3.2025 (5 years and 7 months + 1 + 1).
Please note, all installations for all sites must be completed by 31.3.2019.
The tender exercise will be carried out electronically. Interested parties should register their interest, via Hampshire County Councils In-Tend website: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/ when the documentation becomes available. No charge is made for registration or access to this system. It is planned that the tender is to be launched mid June 2017.
