This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not a call for competition for the purposes of Regulation 26(9) of the Public Contracts regulation 2015 - a specific call for competition for this planned procurement may be published by means of a contract notice within the next 1/3 months. This PIN is intended as an early notice to the Market of the University's proposals and an invitation to begin pre-procurement market engagement and consultation.
The University wishes to undertake a market engagement event in respect of these procurement proposals which will be held in central Manchester on the 14.10.2016 at 13:00. Please note that the University requests that each participant limits its number of attendees to two per organisation.

The market engagement event aims to inform economic operators of the procurement plans and requirements and to assess the feasibility of proposed requirements and work package(s), capability of the market as a whole to achieve what is required, maturity of the market to ensure a competitive procurement, capacity of the market to deliver what is required and identify potential risks.
The University will not, in any circumstances, be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by you in connection with this process and the University reserves the right to change the process and invite consortium bids.
The University encourages open, fair and transparent procurement and omission from any part of the market engagement event shall not be taken into account in any subsequent bidder selection or tender evaluation process.
