To assist Guildford Borough Council in identifying digital opportunities within Guildford Town Centre and the wider Borough, Guildford Borough Council is seeking to invite interested companies to participate in a soft market session which will be held at the offices of Guildford Borough Council in November 2016.
The purpose of this exercise will be for Guildford Borough Council to share with interested parties their current and future digital aspirations and to outline their proposed enabling role through the use of council owned assets including buildings, street furniture, rooftops and other related assets with a view to determining the following:
1. whether there is interest in the market to engage with the Guildford Borough Council
2. what opportunities would be of interest and how could you envisage these council owned assets supporting your commercial model and strategy
3. what potential commercial models would work for you
4. your preferred option of engagement with Guildford Borough Council
5. potential challenges and risks
Any interested parties should express their interest by e mail to the following address by 3.11.2016.
If you would like to see us to discuss this opportunity please write in no more than 1000 words describing your interest in the procurement, your past experience in the field and the points you would like to discuss.
Soft market testing is planned to take place in November 2016. Each party would have 2 hours with a common agenda and meeting will be held at a business location in Guildford.
If you are not seen please rest assured this will not disadvantage you in the forthcoming formal procurement. All parties which express an interest will receive feedback from the soft market testing event before the OJEU notice is published (marking the start of the formal procurement procedure).
