Further to Paragraph 3 of the Best Value Statutory Guidance issued by the Secretary of State for Local Government in September 2011, the Council is holding a Concept Viability event to explore the plans for the delivery of this service prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited. The event will be held on 9th September in Norwich. Precise details will be emailed to those who express an interest. The event will inform providers of our intentions and what we hope to achieve, to ascertain what potential providers see as areas of risk, to discuss the specifications, and what (if anything) would stop interested parties from applying. In addition, we would, further to our duties under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, welcome views from potential providers about whether, and if so how, the procurement process could deliver economic, social or environmental benefit for the County of Norfolk. Places will be limited to 2 people per organisation (to be limited to 1 if numbers become unmanageable). If you are interested in this opportunity you are advised to attend.
To express an interest and apply to attend, applicants must first be registered on the procurement system at:

https://in-tendhost.co.uk/norfolkcc Full instructions for registration and use of the system can be found at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/norfolkcc/aspx/BuyerProfiles Once registered you will be able to view the project under the tenders section and express an interest. To book a place please use the correspondence facility on In-tend and provide your organisation's name and the names, e-mail addresses and contact telephone numbers of the people who will be attending. Please quote ‘NCCT41110 Concept Event’ in the subject line of your correspondence.
