Kent County Council - LASER has identified an opportunity to establish a framework agreement for the provision of potable water and wastewater services via water Retailers. The precise makeup of the tender is yet to be determined, including whether this is to be split into lots. The estimated contract value range is subject to end user signup and volume variations. In addition to the supply of potable or sewerage services, the framework may require the provision of ancillary services, goods and works. It is foreseen that the framework will include a range of pricing options with a focus being placed on the transparency of the prices. The awarding of individual contracts may be based in part on the ability and cost of the Retailer providing both desk and site based efficiency services, these may include but are not limited to, metering; Automatic Meter Reading (AMR); innovations delivering increased water conservation; analysis of current water consumption patterns and advice and implementation of recommendations; new connections and site-works.
