Arun District Council has decided to invite organisations to tender for a Contract to provide Cleaning Services for Public Offices, Sheltered Housing Schemes and Hostels.
The contract will not include internal or external window cleaning.
Tenderers are advised to read all the Tender documents thoroughly to ensure that all of the Employer's requirements are addressed. The Tenderer must obtain for himself all the information necessary for making a Tender submission and entering into a Contract by considering all the Tender Documents and inspecting the public offices, sheltered housing schemes and hostels to satisfy themselves with regard to the nature of the services required.
The contract will start on the 1.1.2017 and be awarded for an initial 2 year period with the option to extend for a further 4 x 1 year periods to a maximum term of 6 years. Extensions will only be given to those companies who continually meet or exceed the levels of service as set out in the specification as well as continuing to offer ‘value for money’. Future tendering may occur within the 6 year period for certain lots to find replacement companies to those that have not met the expected levels of service.
The Contract is to provide Cleaning Services for the Public Office Buildings, Sheltered Housing and Hostel schemes. This tender is divided into 4 lots based on building use and location (East and West of the river Arun).
