II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The scope of procurement is to cover SIA overseas events (2017-2019) and SIRHA (2017 and 2019) on behalf of AHDB Beef and Lamb. Both will have their own specific needs and requirements, which will include services covering stand design and build, stand graphic design and production, and audio-visual and equipment hire. The scope of this procurement does not include exhibition space as it is not open to competition.
All suppliers must show understanding of the task, whilst showing innovation and creation, they must show an ability to liaise with other suppliers and their proposals must be cost-effective. SIA will require a French speaking stand builder, whilst SIRHA will require French and English. The outputs that AHDB require may vary considerably from project to project, however, as a broad outline, AHDB envisages that they may include the following:
For the provision of stand design, graphic design, build and production services;
Interpreting brief from client;
Production of scale drawing of stand and scale model if appropriate;
Detailed specification of all items needed;
Complete cost breakdown;
Timing plan;
Listing of main personnel involved on project;
Liaising with other suppliers particularly stand design and build;
Development of design concepts;
Production of agreed design concepts;
Complete breakdown of costs;
Listing of main personnel involved on project;
Submissions will be accepted in French and English.
It is preferable that suppliers have understanding and experience of working at livestock shows, and also building stands with hospitality/kitchen areas.
