Note: Cambridgeshire County Council (‘The Council’) intends to use this Prior Information Notice (PIN) as a call for competition meaning that only potential providers who submit a valid response to the PIN will be invited to tender. The Council wishes to invite expressions of interest from established potential providers who can demonstrate evidence of providing high quality person centred care in both a Residential and/ or a Nursing Care Home setting. Potential providers must be willing and available to offer beds on a block basis in the following provisions:- Residential - Residential Dementia - Nursing - Nursing Dementia The Council is committed to the care and re-ablement of people using the service. Potential providers will need to demonstrate that the services they are able to provide are of a high quality as the services will be monitored by the County Council. Subject to the receipt of sufficient responses to this PIN exercise, the Council intends to run a tender process with a view to award contracts for an initial period of 3 years commencing in June 2016 with an option to extend for a further 2 years. Potential providers who wish to express an interest in tendering for the above service must respond to the PIN by completing and submitting the Request for Formal Expressions of Interest document. To gain access to the Request for Formal Expressions of Interest document potential providers must first register on the LGSS eSourcing Portal (Due North) and then register an interest in the contract ‘Cambridgeshire Older People Residential and Nursing Block Bed Contract’ (A7DF-L6N009).
