It is the intention of the Client to appoint an Architect-led Design Team to deliver IMPACT Project to conclusion of RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design).
The University will reserve the right to retain as an option the services of the Architect through to completion of the Project.
The Architect will be expected to contribute to each of the tasks set out in the tender documents, working with Design and Delivery Teams, the Employer and other design team members in order to develop and test options for the building that reflect potential programme, proposals and budget, in order to meet the needs and perceptions of the University.
Detailed consultation is required with Stakeholders and end users to establish the exact requirements of each and every area along with the management of expectation.
This tender is being conducted via the Restricted procedure, incorporating a Pre-Qualification stage, from which a shortlist of up to 5 tenderers The University reserves the right to accept or award the contract in whole, in part, or not at all, and is therefore not obliged to accept all or any submissions.
