NPT Homes is a Registered Social Landlord with charitable status. We are responsible for managing and maintaining 9 000 + properties in the Neath Port Talbot area. It is anticipated that NPT Homes will spend approximately 6 000 000 GBP over a 4 year period carrying out Void Repairs (small works up to 15 000 GBP). The contract will be issued under a framework agreement, to a maximum of 5 contractors, over a 4 year period. It is anticipated that work will be allocated to contractors through ‘Call-off Contracts' and the work content will be awarded on individual void properties, with a maximum of 10 voids allocated to any one contractor at any time. ‘Call-offs' will be issued on the basis of the most competitive rate per property taken from the schedule of rates. Individual ‘call-off' contracts raised under the Framework Agreement can commence at any time after the commencement date of the Framework Agreement.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
NPT Homes will be adopting the ‘core approach' as part of this procurement process.
This means, as part of their tender response, potential Tenderers will be asked to submit a method statement in the form of a Community Benefits Plan setting out how they will deliver ‘community benefits' through the contract.
Attached to the ITT is a detailed description of the requirements NPT Homes expects to achieve from the Tenderer, along with a Community Benefits ‘Menu of Options' to assist Tenderers to complete their Community Benefits Plan.
