The Welsh Government are promoting the construction of new infrastructure works at Northern Gateway, Deeside to support commercial development comprising of a new access road connecting the proposed development off Welsh Road on Deeside Industrial Park to the north. The site is located to the north of the River Dee, west of the A494 near Garden City.
The construction works is currently limited to the Phase 1 Infrastructure Works comprising of approximately 0.8 km of single carriageway highway including priority junctions and roundabouts, foot-ways and cycleway links, associated earthworks, drainage, culverts, street furniture, lighting, services, accommodation works, service diversions and environmental mitigation works.
The Infrastructure Works will be subject to a detailed planning application which is currently in progress.
