II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with NHS Lothian, East Lothian Council and Mid Lothian Council, has a duty to provide Aids for Daily Living to individuals with illness or disability or after returning from hospital care for them to live in their own homes.
This Framework shall include The City of Edinburgh Council, East and Mid Lothain Council, West Lothain Council.
This Framework Agreement will also be open to Providers of Social Housing that are registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator.
This shall be a 2 year Framework Agreement with the option to extend for a further 2 years (1+1 years) based on 7 lots with a Single Supplier per lot.
The estimated value of 7.1m GBP of the Framework is based over 2 years +1 +1 extension.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Contracting Authority will issue to all tenderers by electronic means a formal Award Decision Notification. The notification will give reasons for the award decision and the earliest date that the contract will be concluded, which date shall be not less than ten days from the date of issue of the notification. If proceedings are served on the Contracting Authority in relation to a contract that has not been entered into, the procurement process will be automatically suspended.
