In summary the contract is for:
- The design, manufacture, or supply, configuration, programming, testing, delivery, site installation, site configuration, programming, testing and commissioning of WITS-DNP3 compliant outstation equipment
- The delivery of legacy spares
- Removal and disposal of redundant outstation equipment.
- The provision of technical support, spares and repairs services
- The provision of full technical specification, operation & maintenance documentation for the new outstation equipment.
- The provision of a telephone support service under Lot 1 available to respond within 1 hour on a 24 hour / 7 days a week basis.
- The provision of training of the Client and the Clients installation contractors' resources in the installation, configuration, programming, testing and maintenance of the new outstation equipment
It is envisaged that the main replacement of approximately 900 outstations will take place during the first two years of the contract with further outstations replaced as required over the remainder of the contract period. .
