The contract will be for a period of 1 year with the option to extend for 2 additional 12 month periods at the sole discretion of the Council.

Particular attention is drawn to, not least, The Pollution Control and Local Government Order 1978, The Council Directive 1999/31/EC on the Landfill of Wastes, The Transfrontier Shipment of Waste Regulations, The Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994, The Waste and Contaminated Land Order (NI) 2003, The Controlled Waste (Duty of Care) Regulations 2002, and The Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations (NI) 2003, and the Registration of Carriers (seizure of vehicles) Legislation.
