The contract will be subject to Lots: Work will be either awarded on a cost and quality or mini-competition. Pricing will be based on a Schedule of Rates which will be sent out with the tender documents.
Contractors Framework Lots by trade- Labour only/All inclusive labour and materials.
Work will be packaged in a variety of ways to create diversity in the Supply Chain by providing opportunities to different sizes and types of suppliers. Lots will include a mixture of labour only to support our DLO and other works inclusive of labour and materials.

Bron Afon Community Housing is committed to achieving economic, social and environmental well-being for its residents and implementing the Community Strategy so as to ensure a better quality of life for everyone, now and for generations to come. To achieve this it commits to the following actions to the fullest extent possible within the relevant legal and policy frameworks and the available funding:
i) to consider what recruitment and training, equal opportunities and supply-chain opportunities could be obtained from each services contract
ii) to include training, equal opportunities and recruitment requirements, and supply-chain opportunities in its service requirements, where it considers this appropriate;
iii) to include other social and environmental matters in its service requirements, where it considers this appropriate; and
iv) to use these requirements in all stages of the selection and contract award process, and as contract conditions.
When works are subject to leaseholder consultation process between Bron Afon (landlord) and leaseholders within the relevant blocks of flats. The Procurement process may be subject to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 which contains the primary legislation about consultation in section 20 of the Act(as amended).
Consequently additional Expressions of Interest may be received following consultation and will be added to the procurement Process after the deadline date as agreed.

Under this contract the service provider is required to participate actively in the economic and social regeneration of and surrounding the place of delivery for the contract. Accordingly contract performance condition may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
In order to receive the PQQ expression of interest must be emailed to the email address in section 1.1 . The cut off date for expressions of interest is 24.4.13 at 1200 hrs.(noon) Documents will not be sent until after this date.
