Torfaen County Borough Council is leading the way in the establishment of a Data Centre and Shared Resource Service in Blaenavon. The Data Centre comprises a number of Data Halls which have been purpose built for public sector organisations within the locality to house their infrastructures with high capacity network links into the building. Due to the demand for these facilities the Council is looking to expand it’s current offering and to build additional data halls over the next few years. This Framework Agreement is for the Design, Construction and Project Management of these additional Tier 2/3 Data Halls within existing buildings or in purpose built buildings.
