This piece of work will incorporate the following elements:
The Project will provide a pool of trained facilitators/youth workers to work with detached young people across the cluster area. It will provide tailored, dedicated resources, and experienced youth workers to provide opportunities for detached young people to engage in peace building work. In determining participating areas/communities which should benefit from the project, the following factors must be addressed:
- interventions should be based in areas/communities which have been significantly impacted upon by the Troubles and be sensitive to local circumstances,
- interventions should be based in areas/communities which have the potential to build positive relations at the local level,
- interventions should be spread equitably across the NE Cluster region, including participation by young people from urban and rural areas,
- interventions should add value to any previous/existing detached youth work.
